Marching through March day 20

Happy First Day of Spring everybody!
As nerdy as I am about to sound, today I am going to "spring-clean" my files and organize my jewelry. Spring cleaning sure is interesting. I think we all need to do a little spring cleaning on our hearts. What I mean is to get rid of all the stuff that is becoming our chains and addictions. To get rid of the stuff that is holding us back. For example, in January I was addicted to this website called Polyvore. It was literally my life, I spent so much time on it. It was holding me back from my devotion to the Lord because I was choosing Polyvore over God. Eventually, after much prayer, I got rid of Polyvore by deleting my account. The road has been tough and I have been tempted to remake my account . But now I realize that if I did remake my account, I would be doing the same thing over again, and I never want to go down that path again. Are you holding anything back that you want to spring clean and get rid of? Whatever your chains or boundaries are please pray this prayer with me:
Dear God,
I know I have done you wrong by holding things back from You and making them my life. Please hear my cry for mercy. I need Your Strength to spring clean these things in my heart. I can't do it myself and I need your help. I love you so much Father. Please enter my heart and forgive me of my sins. I want a relationship with You and only You. The temporary things of this Earth will fade away, but You remain forever. Please help me withstand the temptations of my addictions, and guide me through this darkened world. In Your Name deserves all the glory.
Amen.

Another part of Spring is Daylight Savings Time. So far I have NOT gotten use to the time change. :) What about you? But something I have realized is that we cannot let this get us down. I encourage you to take this challenge that I am also doing...aka not letting the time change affect us. Let's use it to make it a better reason to share God's Grace unto the world. So let's not let the time change make us upset...let's worship God with the hours that we DO have instead of complaining for the hour that we don't have. With this new attitude, we can re-revolutionize the way we  think about DST and instead share God's Grace not just for one hour, but for the remainder of our day. :)

Happy Spring everyone! God gave us the wonderful Spring, along with the beautiful flowers and gorgeous butterflies. Let's enjoy the spring that He gave us, because His Creations are gorgeous. Don't you love it how He gave us Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer instead of one type of weather??

Happy 1st day of spring! Glad to find your blog! =) I'm glad you said that stuff about polyvore, cause I was on it a lot today & yesterday - & I thought, man this could become an addiction... And if it (& anything else) consumes our life, other than Christ - we are putting idols over Him. Keep strong & keep Christ as your one true God - us ex-polyvore addicts have to stick together! =)
Your Sis in Christ,

I loved the time change because I got to go to church an hour earlier. I can hardly wait for Sundays to roll around. I'm following your blog now.
