Updates! :)

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas full of God's Love! Some new things that will be going on in my blog this year (2011):

- a new blog name! I will admit, changing it has been a heartbreak, but I need something new and fresh. It's going to be called: Julia's Journal: Reflections of a Songwriter. I really feel like Once Upon A Blog has become too generic, and I prayerfully chose this name because I want to really be transparent in my blogs and through the Spirit alone, write about my walk with Jesus, because He is everything to me, in the midst of crazy times and reflections.

- some new series! I've planned at least two, Background Check and Transparent Church. Background Check is going to be a convicting study on how you don't have to be great to receive God's Grace, and we'll be exploring those who were considered the least of these encountering the Greatest, God. Transparent Church has been on my heart for several months now, and its going to encourage us to be more transparent in sharing our testimony, willing to ask for help, and its going to be about how unity is key. Stay posted! :)
