Lately my heart has been burning for those who have an emptiness inside of them. For those that hide their tears and put up a guard, hoping nobody will notice. For those that attempt to fill that hole with non godly things, hoping maybe one day it will feed the emptiness inside.
As humans, we were made to show emotions. The first sign of life in a newborn baby is to cry. But so many times we get caught up in our pride and we get scared so we hide the way that we really feel. I myself struggle with this daily, and it is only to the grace of Jesus Christ that I can be transparent about this.
No matter what you're going through, you are so much more. You are more then a conqueror. God wants to pick you up and carry you through the hard times. He's never going to leave you. When all is said and done, it's God's promises that remain in a compromise-craved world. Never doubt yourself! You really matter to this world. You're not wasted space, you are a human with feelings and thoughts, dreams and aspirations, and made to worship God. You are so beautiful, both inside and out. I know God causes all things to work together for the good of those who love them, and no matter what you're facing it's God who is holding you tight. ♥

Wow, I feel the Holy Spirit when I read your blog. I can see your love for God and that spills out onto other people. Julia, I really needed this so I thank God for helping you write this. Our emotions can help us but when we cry or laugh or smile to God, we are able to get through some difficult situations.
