The Other Side

My heart breaks for the person who's so hurt that she can barely take another blow, i Pod set on high as the tears roll down her face once again.

My heart breaks for the person who society calls a reject, one step away from taking a temporary problem to an eternal solution.

My heart breaks for the Oppressed, the ones who are suffering and are broken,, whose bloody and bruised.

My heart breaks for the Insecure, the ones who feel not good enough every time they step on the scale or look in the mirror.

My heart breaks for the ones who settle for anything less than the cross.

In Romans 8, Paul paints a beautiful illustration of the people we were built by God to be. In Romans 8:37, Paul writes,"No, in all things we were made to be more than conquerors through Him who loved us." No matter what you're going through, God has created you to walk with this preconceived notion that we were made for God and by God. If we spend all our lives focusing on the hurt in our lives, we cannot allow God to move through us.

Later in the chapter Paul writes, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39. The  part in the passage where it says "nor anything else in all creation" means everything that is going on in our lives. Your parent's divorce can't separate us from God. Someone getting cancer can't separate us from God. No matter what you go through, nothing can possible separate us from the eternal bond that God himself and you have entered. No matter what you go through, He's holding your hand and guiding you onto the paths of righteousness.

And look! The disaster is over and you've survived. Just open your eyes and you'll find you've reached the other side. ♥

I am so blessed by this post. Our worth from God is so great, and nothing can seperate us. He loves us that much; He conquer all of our battles before we were even formed. Thank you little sister for this dose of encouragement. :)
