thank you all♥ part two: famILY(:

My family is one of a kind; unique; kindhearted; and beautiful. They have filled my lives with a beautiful song and they sing it back to me when life snatches the words from my heart. Whether it's Mom's amazing home cooked meals, or Avonlea's amazing gift of compassion; I feel blessed that I am able to know them on a personal level and be not only their sister here, but in Christ as well.

My Dad is what I call a superhero. Everything he does he works at it with all of his heart and with a smile on his face. He's known for his corny jokes, love of soft jazz, and well, basically any type of music, and cooking. When I was little, he used to paint my older sister's nails. He does amazing lights for school dances, and my friends love him! :D My Daddy taught me to work at something with all my heart as if I was serving the Lord and not heavenly rulers. (Colassions 3:23) I don't know where I'd be without my Dad.

My Mom is amazing, to say the least. She is hospitable and if your in need, she's someone who'd help you. She's so smart, and one of the only people in the house that will watch a Broadway musical with me. (: Her gift of voice is simply amazing, and blesses everyone when she sings. She's motherly, compassionate, a great cook (just try her cookies!), the BEST at Scrabble, and she brings me a smile when the world isn't as inviting. As mother of 6 children and 3 rowdy Corgis, I don't know how she gets everything done...but she does. She taught me to love the Lord with everything I am, and to trust God in hard situations. (Proverbs 3:5) If you look up Proverbs 31, I believe with all my heart that there should be a picture of my Momma.

Darin, my older brother, is amazingly smart. He graduated valedictorian in high school and still amazes me on how many random facts he knows. Like my dad, Darin also loves corny jokes, and especially old cartoons like Tex Avery, which he got me addicted to watching. Darin is also a fan of 1920's music such as Spike Jones, so whenever we go over to his place that is all we hear. Darin is the bomb at making homemade meatballs, and anywhere you go with him, he makes it an adventure. Darin taught me to make the most of every opportunity, because either you'll really like it or you won't but it's the fact that you go outside of your comfort zone and try something new that counts. He's been in numerous things like band, FBLA, and Boy State, and I hope I make the most of every opportunity like Darin does. My brother Darin is for lack of a better word, epic.

Jayden, my older sister, is beautiful both inside and out. She is great at coming up with smart and innovative ideas. Her scrapbooks always come out beautiful and I know she can do anything she puts her heart to. Jayden is an inspiration to me in more than one way. I love her so much! She changes the world with her wonderful singing voice. With Cherry Coke in hand and sunglasses on her head, Jayden has taught me to grab life by the horns and live (Psalm 118:24), and for this, I thank her tremulously. Her husband Anthony is hilarious, and a cool guy to hang out with. =)

Avonlea, my best friend, sister on Earth, and in Christ, is AMAZING. She's a blond haired blue eyed beauty, and her heart for God is amazing. She blogs with me, on A Whole New Life. Her posts are informative, deep, and most of all a blessing. I'm so happy God gave me her as a sister. I don't know where I'd be without her. She's so smart and the way she writes is captivating. She has a way with words that is just amazing. If you looked at her, instantly you'd be encouraged by her radiant smile, no matter what type of day you are having. She's talented beyond belief at flute and singing, and I believe that if she wanted, she could get a record deal. She has a heart for kids that will change the world, and all I ask is that she'll include me in the journey there. Avonlea taught me that in both the good times and the harder times, that nothing could ever separate me from God. (Romans 8:38-39.)  No matter what she goes through, she stays close to God and I hope I can look back and say that I've done that in my life too.

Keely, my older sister, is gifted at music. She plays more instruments than I can count, and I love coming into our room hearing her sing, play piano, or guitar. She's amazing in every single way, and I love her dearly. Keely taught me to be myself, because that's a great person to be. (Psalm 139) Through our late night movie watching and our random dance moves, I am so blessed to be able to know Keely. Her heart for God is beautiful, and her passion will change a world, and melt the hardest of hearts. She's smart and a great gal to be around. ♥

Coby is my little brother. He's funny, crazy, and always knows how to make me laugh. I can't believe he is growing up so fast! It feels like it was yesterday when it was his first day of kindergarten, and I blinked and now he's in 6th grade! He also recently started a new blog called Learning the Art of Drawing, and I wish him the best for all his future endeavors. I know he'll go far in life because he has the potential to reach for the stars and land on the moon. He's amazing at math, which is my worst subject. =) He's an amazing lil' bro!

To sum it up,
through the fires and flames,
the days where we thought we'd go insane,
we stuck together, side by side,
and whatever we go through,
I'll always know,
that God made a great choice to stick us together.
They've taught me so many things,
from being yourself to loving God,
and I hope one day I could repay for all that you do for me daily!

I love you family!

This is the most beautiful thing I've ever read from a blogger! You have a wonderful family & they all seem like your best friends.
;) I'm sure you give something to them, too!

Little Julia, you are so wise beyond the mountains. You are to sweet and kind. Thank you for being such a wonderful sister. You always brighten my day up when you offer advice or just listen to me...or maybe it is when we stay up past our bedtime playing twenty questions. Whatever you do with me, you make me realize how beautiful of a sister you are to me.

I must admit that I almost started crying when I read this. Thank you little sister for always reaching out your hand to pull me up. Thank you for catching my tears. Thank you for the sweet smiles that you pass along. And thank you most of all for sharing your Heavenly gifts with a darkened world (every time you sing, my heart melts).

Thank you little sister! You're so thee best! I love you!
