I'm currently studying acting right now, and it has been quite a bit of a challenge. You have to literally "get into" your character. You have to make it believable but you know its all a lie. You become someone else.
We act all the time when you think about it. One minute you're on with your friends talking about something inappropriate, then your grandma calls and your complete attitude changes. Another example is you are crying endless tears, then someone asks you if you are okay and you swallow your tears and say that you are fine.
All of this is only a mask. It covers it up so that you'll feel safe inside, trapped within your hurts and compromises. It's an easy life. But God's Grace runs so deep within us that we should be allowing the Spirit to take off our mask, to become transparent. It's time to embrace your hurts and be honest with yourself. It's time to admit that we are weak without God and ask for His help and His touch. It's time to passionately world change this community, school, and world.
Well, time to get ready for Crossroads tonight. Praying for transparency tonight and lives being healed.

That was a beautiful post. You are right. We should not be worried about taking off the mask. God sees us even when we think we are hiding from Him. He thinks we are a delight and He should know because He created us. Keep writng the beautiful and thought provoking posts.

I am in awe of what beautiful gift God has given you. You are such a thirsty soul, and I admire that. I love this blog. It broke my heart (in a good way). Praise Jesus for you! :)
