As you may know, or not know, I am reading Acts. To me, it really gives the message that the church is the people, not the place. In ancient Biblical times, often they did not have a building for church like we do. Instead they had people they would go and talk to and encourage and baptize them. They became family to them.
It goes the same for now. As I try to say as much as possible, the Bible is NOT a history book like the ones in school. There are prophecies being fulfilled today. We need to do that today in modern times. We can not expect the world to be healed by a fairy godmother or something or other. We need to be there for each other. Sure, it's going to be hard. Nobody said this was going to be easy. But we are not doing this for ourselves, we are doing it to glorify God's Kingdom in Heaven. Jesus was MOCKED, SPAT ON, KILLED, DISRESPECTED, AND MORE. Nobody knows hurt like Jesus does, I assure you. I hope this blog encouraged you to realize that the church is the people, not the place.♥
