Trust. Day Two.

Trust.

OK, try this situation. You are at Disneyland and having a great time with your parents. You are starting to think about how much you are having fun with your parents. And then you ask them to go on Splash Mountain and they say no. And the war begins.

A lot of the things in the situation above we can relate to on our spiritual climb. Your having a great time with your friends, and you ask God for..hmm. To have enough money. Then three months later, your youth group goes to Rome (I have been wanting to visit Rome on a mission trip) and you are sitting alone wondering why God would let this happen to you.

There are a couple of things we need to understand. First, we are not in control. God knows your life and the choices that you will make. God is in authority. He is above money, friends, and that car you have been saving up for. God ALWAYS knows the best path for us no matter how rocky the path might seem. He wants the best way for you! If He didn't, why wouldn't He sent His Only Son to die on a wooden cross? I believe that God knows the best way and we just need to put our trust in that. I'm not saying that it will be the easiest thing to do. There will be trials such as: friends mocking you, and such. It will require us letting go of some things that will be very hard like addictions and chains. But God is supporting you ALL the way. He will never leave or forsake you. He is always with you.

Second, we need to trust God. Have you ever had a toy and only played with it when you felt like it? We should not do that to God. Sometimes it will seem hard to do, as if you are waiting and waiting and waiting. We also need and I am really stressing this-to put God in control. If God says no, we have no right to get mad at Him. Maybe it is the wrong time for it. He'll let you know. Just stay continuing in prayer and worship. A lot of us think that an answered prayer is always a yes. But God always ANSWERS a prayer. Sometimes it will be no. Sometimes it will be yes. Sometimes it might even seem some later time. But God always answers a prayer. We are going into more detail tomorrow night. I really hope you like today's teaching. ♥ Have a blessed day everybody. Amen.
