I made this on http://www.picnik.com. It was so incredibly easy and fun to make!
Anyways, the message I was trying to get across on this picture is that we cannot wait for a holiday to express love. We need to not just keep Valentine's Day in a scrapbook until Feb. 14th but to keep the love flowing every day. We can do so by expressing love daily by simply just giving your friends a nice smile and time to listen to them, not you. We can show God's love by instead of usually eating lunch with your friends, eating lunch with someone sitting alone and talking to them and befriending them. Or by telling someone how pretty they look. Or even just giving a loving and hopeful smile to a stranger in the locker room. Doing these things will not be easy. It will require us 1. letting go of our social status to befriend others 2. putting yourself last on the list to be able to really listen to them and not daydream. and finally 3. caring about this person and not being a fake and just doing it for the attention. I am carrying on this challenge with you fellow bloggers, and I plan on sitting with someone at lunch this week (We have no school on Monday, another short week ☺) and really listening to them, and talking to someone in the locker room I wanted to but I was afraid of what people would think of me. I pray deeply that we share God's Love on a daily basis and just be able to love others unconditionally no matter who they are, what they look like, and the strength to reach out to others.♥
Happy Valentine's Day everybody. I hope it is a wonderful day and inspiration to do so everyday and not hold back. God bless, Julia Lynne.
