We all do the same things

Romans 2:1
"You,therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things."

I was flipping through my Bible [again] when I saw this verse in Romans. I love the book Romans by the way. I am currently reading it. Anyways, have you ever heard the term 'Walk in their shoes for a day'? Oh I have a lot of time! (: The person whom you are walking in their shoes could either hurt every time you walk, like high heels or brand new Nikes. It may pain them every step they take, and can barely stand it. That was a metaphor to mean maybe they are going through depression, hurt, gossip from friends they thought they could trust, family problems, addictions-You name it!
Does this give us ANY right to judge them? To make fun of their funny clothes and the way they fix their hair? No No No No! Are we any better then them? No! Every single person on this Earth have sinned one way or another. Sin isn't measured by how bad it is, God does not measure Sin. But God loves us so much that He is willing to shine compassion on us and sent His Son for us. That's so warming to know that God, who heals the blind and makes the lame walk will love us! That He wants a relationship with us! So now we need to do our part in people who don't know God's love or does and is having some doubts/questions. Let's do it! (: We need to love them, no matter how hard it is. When I was dealing with some deep cheese, I didn't want anyone to talk to me because...of how hurt I was. Have you ever felt like that? I know from personal experience that somebody mocking you is just the icing on top of your "my day sucks" cake.
So let's turn that around! By just giving a loving [not mocking, make it sincere] smile, or just even sitting with them at lunch can make their day at least a little bit better. I know, it is hard to love on those who hurt you- but we must. I recently became friends with a girl I have known since kindergarten, and people have been mocking me ever since...but I am glad I did it! We are now good friends.
Even though it will be hard [Jesus never said it will be easy, in fact He said that you must take up your cross with Him-meaning that there will be hardships and trials...but the retirement benefits are out of this world!] we must go out and love them, show them that you care. (: Have a great day everyone.
