Today is an awesome Day 10 filled over the top with stories, Scripture, and my daily trials. Just wanted to have a different beginning then the usual Let's Begin.
1st Period: I am so excited! Pickles, Cupcake, and Candy are all starting to germinate. Pickles tail is 1 centimeters long, Cupcake's tail is 1 1/5 centimeters, and Candy's tail is 2 centimeters long. It's so fascinating to one day have a baby seed, and then see it grow up slowly. =)
2nd Period: We just sang some songs for our concert coming up. I think my teacher is becoming less stressed which is good, but I think our choir really needs to shut up and sing so we can do good at the concert. I am now realizing that with my choir trained voice, I could go so much farther then one period a day, but use my voice to praise God, not myself. I say not praise myself because often times I sing to get a reaction from others, but it is truly all about My Savior.
Psalm 47:7 "For God is King of all the Earth, sing to Him a psalm of praise."
3rd Period: We began jump-roping today. I am really enjoying P.E lately, and I believe it is because I have made it a habit of praying before entering the locker rooms. We got to pick our teams which I have some of my closest friends on there. I was actually worried that I couldn't jump rope, because it has been so long since I last picked up a rope and jumproped, but I enjoyed doing it. We get to come up with our own routine and I personally think it would be AWESOME if someone jumped then went on en pointe, or that we incorporate our own individual style into it because that is where we can be most comfortable and relaxed. I can't wait!
4th Period: We watched a PowerPoint about reformers. I found it interesting that many leaders wanted to get rid of the rituals, and focus on our relationships with God which I completely agree. We see all these books on how to be the perfect Christian and have the best church--but it's not about that. It's about seeking an intimate relationship with God our Father. But there was something I didn't agree with- someone said that God already knows if your going to Heaven or Hell so there's nothing you can do about it. I disagree with this statement because God loves us and we can invite Him into our hearts not matter how bad we screwed up.:)
"While you were dead in sins and in your uncircumcision of your sinful nature. God made you alive with Christ..." -Colossians 2:13
Lunch: I gave a thank you card for our school librarian today at lunch. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. She does so much for our school, and the library is so crucial to our learning experience. I love reading books and she makes sure it is a clean and nice area to read and go on new adventures in the books. I also went into the office to get a Speech Meet form. The theme is "Hero" and I decided to do my speech on my sister. I pray so hard that I will have enough time to do a speech but I need to remember that God is with me. If I do win I am going to use it for a better cause then buying a cute top because if I do buy something Earthly I won't even care about it in 20 years, so I would rather help someone in need.<3
5th Period: We worked in groups of four today. My very close friend Whitney was here today which is awesome because she has been suffering from bronchitis all week so far. Whitney, John, Naz, and I were all in a group discussing similes, metaphors, and onamonapia. It was fun, especially because we had the most words so we got a Jolly Rancher. Yum!
6th Period: Today my class learned about slopes. Seriously I thought that would be the hardest thing EVER, but it was really easy and fun to do. Please pray for my math teacher that she doesn't have to have jury duty so she can keep teaching us important math lessons.
7th Period: We worked on test review because soon is the STAR test. This is going to sound really weird but I love being busy. I got 9/10 questions right on the test so that is pretty nifty. =)
Well tomorrow is Day 11 which is becoming more and more enjoyable as I think about it. :)

Awww, aren't you the sweetest thing?! lol, I'm actually really good. Although (its a long story, I'll explain sometime) if you could just keep me in your prayers concerning my braces and teeth it would be great. I have to leave for church or I'd explain a little more.
HOw are you? You doing good? need prayer for anything? Let me know girl, I'm always here for you!

Man, Julia! I remember when it was just day 1!! And thank you for your prayers. I just got home from youth group at my church, and I can hear God speaking to me.
P.S. You're right about that $ you might win: In 20 years, it won't even matter that you bought a shirt, and spending it wisely for some one else is so great :)
