1st Period: The Science Test ended up being wayyy easier then expected. It had 25 questions, including fill-in-the-blank and true or false. I was really happy I finished the test knowing I tried my best and prayed before starting. God is amazing, the fact that He helps us even when we don't deserve it. He loves us so much. <33
2nd Period: We sound awesome as a choir, now that we are all focused on singing. We finished "The Star Spangled Banner" and "Duct Tape", but we still need to do "Jubilate Alleluia" and "The rhythm of life." I love the song rhythm of life, it talks about spreading the gospel to everyone, creating a rhythm of life. It is awesome! ;)
3rd Period: Team Awesome (my team) redid our entire jump-rope routine. Now it is like a jump competition against Tori and Marlene, and Des and I. It's really hard not to laugh because I have to act all tough and it is really hard. lol. I seriously wish I could do a push-up while jump roping, there are people who can do that. We have to run the mile tomorrow, but I am bringing 1 of my many running passes.
4th Period: I finished my poster, it looks fabulous. I found some lip mark stickers so I put some on Henry the 8th...lol. Then we watched a PowerPoint for our test tomorrow(is it just me or are they pelting me with tests? :) I know that after I pray and study I will be good though). Mr Pena is trying to get everyone to make him some chili beans for our party on Friday. lol! The Reformation is really interesting, that people want to change the church. I agree with Martin Luther's ideas but not John Calvin. I love that these reformers wanted to break the idea of church and rituals, and focus more on the relationship with God. It also makes me think of my relationship with God. Am I using God as a vending machine, only wanting things? Or am I really trying to get an intimate relationship with Him--telling Him my hopes and dreams, my fears and failures and praising Him for the little things in life?
5th Period- We got new groups today. Now it is: me, Ezzy, John, and Cody. We did a story about Venus Flytraps..now I want one named "Chomp Chomp"(Naz thought of the name). Then again, it would probably make me scared to touch it or whatnot. Just kidding.
6th Period- Let's just say I didn't do too hot on the math test. Luckily, there is a Math Retake on Friday during class which I am going to do. I am happy that I took the time to try each math problem and did my best and that's what matters, right? However please pray that I can have strength to retake my test with a focused mind. the Strength of my Savior, and the concentration to work out each problem to the fullest. (Plus I got 10 extra credit points! So if I get a 70 on my retake, it will be an 80. Sweet!)
7th Period- 7th Period was an adventure today. We had to do 15 questions, and the last one had the name Levi. However I thought it was Lexi, so I told Sierra," Who would name a BOY Lexi?". So yes I embarrased myself today. Oh well. :)
Well I need to practice my speech and then I was planning on writing some blogs later, so keep your eyes open! Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone, and please remember that we don't need luck...we have God. That is better then anything truly!!!!! :)
Have a wonderful and safe week everyone.
