2nd Period- Our choir went over some of the mistakes in our songs. It was really tense, so my friends were CRACKING us up. It was lots of fun. It can be really stressful, especially because our performance is on Tuesday. But I know in the end God will provide and heal my stress.
3rd Period- It started off to be a really good period, working on our jump rope routine and having a blast. Then, I accidentally hit myself on the arm with those little elastic ropes and it hurts but it is starting to go away. Thank goodness it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. :) After P.E, I went to go change and I noticed something...different. My lock was changed, so the sub had to help me out. It ended up taking all of my time to change so she had to write me a pass. She was very sweet and understanding. On the way to 4th Period, I thanked God for allowing us to be able to open the locker and that whoever did that their eyes will be opened and they don't do that again to anyone else. I am trying to see the situation in an understanding way, because I know I have done mean things in my day to, so I need to forgive whoever did it and move on in my life.
4th Period- There was a sub today, and we were talking about predestination. I personally do not agree with predestination because God gave us a choice to either follow Him and live eternally with Him, or not follow Him and burn in a lake of fire. We have that choice. Jesus died and rose again on that cross to allow us to have eternal life and repent, so no matter how bad we mess up...God will forgive us. We just have to repent and change our ways! :)
5th Period- In 5th period we did some more group work. It's been really fun getting to know the people in my group and I will continue to get to know them. :) We actually did a really good job today. It was about cyberbullying. It's so sad that cyberbullying gives people comfort when they are hurting others, but I just need to remain non-bullying and try to spread that message.
6th Period- Today in 6th period we are learning how to do conversions. It's pretty easy for me which feels awesome because math isn't my best subject. This year on the tests, I'm aiming for either a basic or proficient. Please pray for me.
7th Period- We did the usual, went over Selection Support and did another test review lesson. This time it was on commas, so here is a sentence using a comma:
Julia proclaimed,"I can't wait until Alvin and the Chipmunks comes out on DVD!"
Speech Meet Practice- It went AWESOME! I did really well on my speech, but there are some elements of the speech I have to rewrite and improve. I really enjoy talking in front of people because it feels great.
P.S The verse that has kept me going through the day is:
"I can do all things through Christ which strengths me." -Philippians 4:13
