My hero is unexplainable. Not because it's too hard to describe him, but because I have too many words to describe Him with. With open hands he gives us compassion and life, but I often return the favor by sinning. He is gracious and loving when I am angry and selfish. He's helped me through the worst and best of my days, and has existed longer then any box office actor, famous rock star, or moving poet. His name is God.
He's helped me through it all. He's guided me through the worst of my days including when my dog Snoopy died, the math tests that seem impossible, and the pressures of school and the best of my days including when my family first got our Disneyland passes, the day I first started this blog, and being able to eat dinner with my family every night and just talk about how our day went. He gives me strength and confidence to do the hardest things and encourages me when I am in a bad mood.
God is also my hero because of His Unfailing Love for me. Even though I slip up on the way, God still forgives me and loves me. Since I sinned, I deserved death. But instead God loves us so much He sent His own Son to die and suffer on a wooden cross and rise again from the dead. Instead of having to pay for my sins and die, Christ gave us life and wants an intimate relationship with me. To think that a God like Him wants a relationship with a sinner with me is overpowering. He wants to know us. That is amazing.
Another reason why God is my hero is because of all the things He has blessed me with. Every morning I have water to take a shower with, clothes to clothe me with, and food to eat. When I go to school, I have pencils to write with, textbooks to learn with, and opportunities to expand my learning experience. When I get home from school, my parents have enough money to go grocery shopping and make a wonderful dinner filled with great food, amazing conversations, and the opportunity to get to know some of my beautiful family members. In the worst of times God has provided opportunities and more reasons to trust Him everyday. He teaches me not to worry about tomorrow because God is already there, and to be His Light to others who might not have God in there lives. He helps me through my biggest struggles such as vanity and judging and helps me live my life in a way that He would want me to.
Although the heroes I have are countless, the one that will remain is God. God is a great hero because he has helped me through it all, his unfailing love for me, and the blessings He provides for me and others daily. As the book of John chapter 21 verse 25 says, "Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have enough room for the books that would be written."

Beautiful! Thank you for sharing a piece of your heart. It is a miracle knowing that you are my sister here on Earth and in Heaven. I love the honesty. <3
Great post. You're exactly right--God is unexplainable, not because it's too hard to describe him, but because we have too many words to describe Him with. You put that perfectly.
You are a GREAT writer. Honestly. I love reading your blog. Keep up the good work! <3
