Did you know that even while it is overcast the sun is still out?
A lot of things keep us in our way from Christ. Family troubles, bad grades, Mondays, work problems, economy, weather, bad hair day and friends gossiping about you often become our overcast. It becomes easy to think that the sun will never come out, that we'll have to keep on going through the storms and rain of life.
So let me repeat this again: Did you know that even while it is overcast the sun is still out?
So even while we are going through this overcast, this temptation from the devil to see how weak we are, the sun is still out. But this time I am not talking about the sun that gets you sunburned on a Disneyland vacation or the sun that makes you sweat after P.E.; but instead the Son of God. The light in the darkness. The bright and morning star. So in the midst of our tribulations and trials, God is the Sun that makes the darkness flee.
"That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." 2nd Corinthians 12:10
