Are we really getting it?

Do you ever wonder if we are really getting it? I could read my Bible all day, fast, and pray but if I don't live it out then it's not really getting it and taking it into action. Not living out what we preach and read is like having the best ingredients to make a delicious meal, but instead starving ourselves. God wants us to be fed spiritually and He wants us to have nutrients so we can continue to grow. Oh how it must make our Heavenly Father mourn when we don't live out what we are saying. Do you ever wonder if He is trying to tell us to go to Him not the world? One example is praying. How many times do we go on Google or Youtube, trying to find answers for the world's hardest questions. I admit that I use these search engines to find information also, but when we make it our life then it becomes an obsession. How it must grieve our Father that we do this, when we have a lamp for our way right in front of us. Another example is my passion towards God. Am I letting other things get in my way of worshiping God? Am I caring to much about my self when God deserves ultimate worship? God wants all of me, and all I have to say is okay God, do Your Will and help me be Obedient to Your Word. Father I am sorry for all the times I've been disobedient and not getting Your Word Father. I understand now that You want me to have an abundant life by depending on You and not the world's standards so now I rely on You Father. Everytime I have tried not to sin I have failed Father. I need You to gloriously intervene in my life and help me be more dependant on You Father. I love you and I want to be completely devoted and dedicated to you. In this I pray, for You answer our pleas and give us joy, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
