Ah, nice summer days

The humid air, the endless cares, the nice water, spending time with my sisters and brothers-
Dear Summer, you will be greatly missed.
This summer has been full of Christ, trials, joy, and lots and lots of laughs. Here is an overview of my summer activities this summer:
1. Movie watching
-This summer we saw Toy Story 3 twice. It was so cute! It is definitely my new favorite of the classic trilogy. Then we saw Marmaduke, which now I have an obsession with Great Danes. Last but not least, we saw Shrek 4. I have to say, fat Puss In Boots is adorable.
2. Wood Projects
-Dad, Coby, and I all made 2 Lowe's projects: a picture frame and a Ball and Cup Game. I personally need to work on my hammering skills. :) Nevertheless, it was an amazing bonding time!
3. Los Vegas!
-We went to Viva Los Vegas! I enjoyed the long car ride there, looking at all the cool things along the way, such as a GIANT thermometer. Plus, it was a useful sleep time. :) We went to Circus Circus, and it was so cool. Gotta love a pink building!
4. Disneyland
-Mom, Coby, and I went to Disneyland. We had lots of fun, food, and family. The best part: going on my two favorite rides, Peter Pan's Flight and Alice In Wonderland; and also spending time getting to know some of my family members.
5. Rancho Mirage
- Coby and I went to my older brother's apartment last weekend in Rancho Mirage. We saw real flamingos, went to the zoo, saw the overview of the entire city (BEAUTIFUL!), went swimming, ate lots of junk food, and listened to Spike Jones.
6. Our new doggy!
-We got a new doggy! His name is Wee Willie Winkle, and he is So adorable! He's a very long, very funny, red Pembroke Corgi. He is such a cutie. :D
7. Generate
- Generate, I must admit has been so beneficial to my spiritual growth. My personal favorite part of Generate is the worship, no doubt! I am so blessed I have the opportunity to go every week. Praise Jesus!

This summer has been incredible! As I pull into the last week of summer, I realized that I want to leave this school with a lifechanging heart. Whether it be talking to someone and encouraging them or starting a Bible Club on campus, I will share the love of Jesus!! :)

I miss summer already too. But good news is God gave us fall and winter and spring to celebrate and praise Him. Great post!
