The peppermint hot chocolate has been made, I just listened to the Dance of The Sugar Plum Fairy, as I shiver from the coldness that is present. I can't deny it...it's almost Christmas time!
This Christmas I want to make a difference...whether it is as small as a mustard seed, just playing on FreeRice or donating some spare change to Salvation Army buckets...with God's gentle hand, it will grow and flourish, blessing one another. It's so easy to be deceived into thinking that we "deserve" the new pair of slippers or the new Wii, but I really feel that this Christmas season will be a time of abundant joy, giving to others as God gives to us. Are you will me? :)
Between the sweets, the memories with my friends and family, music, merchandise...I will remember that Jesus is the reason for the season. Praise the Lord! A new hope is come, Emmanuel!
