As the summer heat is pounding and the sweat trickles down my forehead, there is a truth stirring in my heart that I cannot deny. It's been slowly revealed to me by the Holy Spirit, slowly, one step at a time. And now I cannot stop thinking about it.

“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten— the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm— my great army that I sent among you." Joel 2:25 NIV

Times are hard these days. Maybe as you read this, you are facing rejection, wondering if your heart will ever repair again. Maybe you are broken, as your parents divorced or family member/close friend passed away. Maybe you are here because you are tired of this life and want a way out. But mark my words, it is no accident that you are here. God, from the beginning of time, has had this awesome plan for all of our lives to glorify God in different ways and talents that He has given us. He wanted us to live in a land of milk and honey, some of the most valued things in the Old Testament, He sees a promises in you that you are more than every bad mistake you've made. It doesn't matter how much you've messed up. Give Christ your mistakes and He'll point the cross. It. Is. Finished. You don't have to live like this! There is freedom, and it will reign in this place tonight. God is calling you to an ultimate love feast where He and you will do life together. He wants to hear from you, love on you, and shine His face towards everything going on in your life.

I'm not saying things will get easier, but what I am saying is that you have the maker of the stars on your side. Even if you are going through trials, God is going to send His Spirit to dwell literally inside of you and give you inexpressibly joy.Don't EVER doubt your worth. You are to die for.

But it is a choice that you have to make.I can't do it for you, neither can your parents, or your pastor. It's something that you have to confront. Now, don't get me wrong- it's going to be the most scary thing that you've ever done, but it will also be the most blessed thing you've ever done too. All you have to do is simply reach out your arms to God. Talk to Him. He's your daddy and you are a child of God, a conqueror, and co-heir through Christ. It's okay if emotion arises, it's the beauty. This moment is the ultimate love connection between you and the creator of the universe! And no matter what, mountains, earthquakes, creation, hard times, all the junk in your life, divorces, fights, peer pressure, no matter what you are going through it is virtually impossible to separate us from the love of Christ Jesus that is evident from our hearts. It's us, the sinners, and Him, our Savior, held in an eternal bond. ♥
