Silent voices, broken traditions. Everyone is here, but without you there is a melancholy feeling of loss in the midst of this holiday. Though I have several things to warm me, the coldness reigning my heart hasn't ceased. Since you left, things haven't been the same. The songs we wrote together consistently repeat in my mind; when I go over the warm memories we shared I find myself tossing and turning in the realms of darkness in the night. I don't know where you are. Perhaps you are soaring among the stars, dancing with the moon a joyful song; and feeling the sweet breeze of success. Wherever you are, whatever you do, whatever challenges you encounter...you are destined to do great things. The time is passing faster now, and as my hope declines, my chapped lips mutter, "I miss you."
