Disobeying and Rewards: Two things that cannot coexist

In Deuteronomy 28, God is showing us two things: the wonderful rewards if we obey Him, or the terrible things that will happen if we disobey Him. God wants us to fall in love with Him and be obedient to Him. How you may ask? By doing what He has called us to do, not just in 5 years but starting today. I myself have had lots of trouble with this, but I feel as if God is calling me to restart the Bible Club at school next year. There is a lot of pains in obeying, especially because we are humans and want to give in to our human desires. Sure I might get laughed at. Sure there is going to be times where I just want to give it up. But truly there are great, beyond belief, beautiful rewards if we do what He wants us to do. God created us each for a purpose, and what life would we have if we didn't use our purpose for good? God wants to guide us in our lives and to be able to do that we must be obedient to Him. If your good at singing or playing an instrument, ask God to show you opportunities if it be in His Will where you could join a worship band. If your talent is writing, start a blog where you can shine God's Light through the words that the Holy Spirit has given you. Don't pull a Jonah today, instead, ask God where He wants you to be and make that your goal and ultimately let God guide you. He loves you and that is His desire, for you to be dependent on Him and let Him in control. <3
