"Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth." Colossians 3:2
That seems like such a wake up call. What have I been worrying about? How I will fix my hair, how I will talk to the popular girl, and how to look "perfect". Is that what I am supposed to be focusing on? No, for these things are temporary and will disappear in the blink of an eye once you don't give in. I'd rather focus on being myself, instead of worrying if my mascara smears, ect. I need to be thinking about the things of Heaven. I need to set my focus on God and God alone. I need to be more active in prayer instead of IM'ing my friends for hours. I need to read my Bible more instead of reading Dear John or the latest news on TMZ. I need to be thanking God for the little things in life instead of asking Him for the "perfect dress" because He already knows my future. I need to really focus and mediate on the things of Heaven, and not worry about the things of this Earth. Because the Earth will kill and destroy and fade away, when the Lord never leaves nor forsakes. I really needed this wakeup call from the Lord to really set my priorities straight. Praise God!♥

You're right. Lately I've been too worried of the things of this world, and not focused enough on God's Word, and Heaven.
