I've been learning a lot of things about God lately. I've learned that He will never fail me, that He sees worth in me, and He's willing to move the Heavens, space, and time so that He could spend time with me.
I guess it would be safe to say that my heart is going through a revival season. God is cleaning out all the gunk in my heart, helping me let go of the past, and allowing me to hear His small whisper.
There's been days where I feel terrible, not worthy, ugly, fat, not wanted, unaccepted...but it's God who I am able to talk to. He's the one who listens to me, and helps me in the darkest of nights. It blows me away that God would care about me so much to show me what to do next.
Now that I've met God's love, I am too scared to not go all in. I was scared of letting go, and now all I know how to do is hold on. I'm scared to let go of God because He's all I have. Even though I have days where I have given up on myself, I refuse to give up on God. He's everything to me. My romancer. My hero. My best friend.
I don't know where He will take me, but all I know is that I am willing to go wherever He'll take me. What a blessed life this is!

Febreze: Don't just spray it, pray it!
When something smells we all want some spray to cover up the smell, even if it is just temporary. When you start out spraying it it smells AWESOME and you don't have to worry if it is smelling bad or not. But when the temporary smell fades, the bad smell comes back and we have to keep spraying to make sure the stank is gone.
Because we have all fallen short of the glory of God we all have created stink in our lives. The dictionary actually defines stink as "to emit a strong offensive smell." Basically our sin becomes our stink. When we use worldly things to cover up our smell it smells great at first but then it fades, leaving you to get more of it to cover it up. Instead of it leaving us full and content it leaves us empty inside, wanting something more that will be eternal instead of temporary.
But guess what? There is something eternal, something that will leave us full and satisfied. His name is Jesus. He didn't say we need to pay $3.99 for a bottle of God's Love, but instead He tells us that the price of salvation is free. He tells us that its going to be okay when we are in His Arms and never leaves or fades away. Only through Jesus can we wipe the stink of our lives a.k.a repent. By asking God's forgiveness we can become clean and with God forever and ever. We even get to talk to God by praying and talking to Him everyday.
And God's Love is greater then any perfume, body spray, lotion, or Febreze.
