the battlefields.

I was so inspired by today's devotion main idea: Prayer doesn't necessarily change your circumstances, it changes you.

It's all about your attitude toward the situation that matters. You could be handicapped, but hey, you're alive. You could have no friends, but hey, maybe it's a chance to meet some friends that either you will make an impact on or they will make an impact on you. You could have it all bad. But what does that matter? These things, on Earth, are all temporary. Your attitude, however is what is going to count. God loves you and wants the best for you. He does He is a loving, honest, beautiful, perfect God.

So embrace these battlefields in your life. Embrace the giant zit on your face because God made man in His image (Genesis 1:27). Embrace the fact that you turned down drugs because of your beliefs . Embrace the fact that things are not going your way because God has a plan for you. God loves you! Prayer won't always change your circumstances, but it will change YOU. When God enters your heart, things change. Sure, your not going to be in a little bubble of protection. Trials, tears, and life is still going to sting, if not more. But guess what, now you have a new attitude about these things going on in your life. You realize that God loves you. You realize that even in hard times, you are serving a God who loves you! He loves YOU!

2nd Corinthians 12:10 "That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions,  in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
